CAYOP Mobile App Development

CAYOP Inc. aims to expand its reach by developing a mobile app that connects youth to professional development opportunities. Currently hosted on Bubble.io, CAYOP provides access to fellowships, hackathons, grants, scholarships, and youth council positions. The objective of this project is to create a user-friendly mobile app version of the existing platform, enhancing accessibility and engagement for users. The app should mirror the functionality of the web platform, allowing users to easily browse, apply for, and track various opportunities. The project will involve designing an intuitive interface, ensuring seamless integration with Bubble.io, and testing for usability and performance. This initiative will provide learners with practical experience in mobile app development using no-code tools, applying their classroom knowledge to a real-world scenario.

Youth Opportunities Database

Cayop is determined to connect youth to latest opportunities (non-formal education or employment). This includes internships, hackathons, student competitions, funding for youth initiatives, and conferences/forums. The main goal of this project is to create a database of youth opportunities, in particular opportunities in the area of student competitions, student hackathons, youth conferences/forum, youth council. Cayop already has a large database with opportunities. However, interns will work to refine the list, and build a larger database of opportunities. Training and continuous guidance will be provided.

AI-Powered Opportunity Matcher for CAYOP

The project aims to develop an AI-driven recommendation system for CAYOP, a platform dedicated to connecting students with professional development opportunities. The goal is to create a system that analyzes both the profiles of students and the available opportunities, such as scholarships, internships, and youth council positions, to provide personalized matches. Built on Bubble.io, the platform requires an AI solution that can efficiently process and analyze data to generate relevant recommendations. Additionally, the system should be capable of sending curated lists of opportunities to students on a weekly basis, enhancing their chances of finding suitable opportunities. This project allows learners to apply their knowledge of AI, data analysis, and web development to create a practical solution that benefits both students and the platform.

Digital Content Creation

Students creating content for students We would like students to help us with creating content that drives traffic to our website. We are specifically interested in content that engages students and youth (ages 15-30). We will work with the students to outline our specific goals, the lessons we have learned, and the strategy we are currently employing. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for Cayop, sharing certain posts on our social media accounts, managing a LinkedIn newsletter, and sharing educational/motivational content on social media. Students could also work with our partner organizations to create custom posts and a review of the services delivered by the organization. About Cayop Cayop is a newly launched platform for Canadian youth opportunities. We aim to connect youth and students with the latest opportunities, including internships, hackathons, forums/conferences, and funding for youth-led initiatives. We are a small start-up based on Ottawa.
