Details

The project aims to support Kids At Risk Action (KARA) in its mission to raise awareness about child abuse and protection. The primary goal is to gather and compile articles and data related to child abuse and child protection efforts across the nation. This information will be used in KARA's social media campaigns, podcasts, and publications to educate the public and advocate for policy changes. By providing a comprehensive collection of resources, the project will help KARA effectively communicate the urgency and importance of child protection issues. The project will involve researching credible sources, organizing data, and ensuring the information is up-to-date and relevant. This initiative will allow learners to apply their research and analytical skills in a real-world context, contributing to a meaningful cause.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a well-organized database of articles and data on child abuse and protection. This database should be categorized by topic and source, ensuring easy access for KARA's content creators. Additionally, a summary report highlighting key findings and trends in child protection will be provided. The team will also prepare a presentation to showcase their research process and findings to KARA's stakeholders. These deliverables will equip KARA with valuable resources to enhance their advocacy efforts.
